The classes are challenging and really diverse (I’ve never done the same workout twice), and the training is super-functional. This is the gym you go to if you want to get fit, or be fitter, get strong, or feel stronger. It suits every level from beginner to elite.This isn’t the place to do 100 burpees badly - it’s the place to do 30 burpees perfectly. They really focus on form and functionality so you optimize your workout and get the best out of it, including results. You will feel constantly motivated and inspired by what you can achieve here. Beyond that, the community is amazing: the owners, instructors and members are so inclusive and energetic and they’ve really created a strong and friendly community. Everyone cheers everyone on. No ego, just community! The music is 100% too - so good! I’ve worked out at dozens and dozens of gyms and this has quickly become my favourite. I wasn't sure what to think of Grit labs initially because when I first joined the gym, it was because I won a free month through fb. But after my first class, I knew I wanted more and I kept coming back. The owners Anshul and Kanika including all the trainers are awesome, super motivating, knowledgeable, know you by name and know exactly when to push you. The classes are always different and the music is great. I can say I have never had a workout that I have not liked or regretted doing. They also like to throw in surprise moves and/or challenges at you which keeps things interesting all the time. In the last 6 months, I have lost close to 55lbs and dropped 20% in body fat. They take the time to get to know you and help you develop and achieve your goals. Another one of the keys to their success is the effort and energy they put into the class programming. Never the same workout twice, awesome music and a great balance of “boot camp” and “lift” classes to add to the variety. There are plenty of weights and equipment to go around and they are constantly adding pieces for specific exercises.
